The Quanergy executive team is made up of an impressive group of successful leaders, entrepreneurs and inventors who have proven track records. The team brings years of combined experience in the development, commercialization and mass production on a global scale of products requiring specialized skills in photonics, optics, optoelectronics, energy mechatronics, robotics, advanced learning, mico/nanofabrication, automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning and controls.

Enzo Signore CEO and Board Member

Enzo Signore is the Chief Executive Officer, and Board Member of Quanergy. Prior, he was Quanergy Systems’ CMO responsible for product management, go to market strategy, and channel and alliances. Enzo brings both public and private company experience with three IPO’s, two high-growth public-company scaling, two successful turnarounds, and two acquisitions. Enzo has over 30 years of general management, product management and marketing experience across various industries including integrated photonic systems, artificial intelligence and SaaS. Prior to joining Quanergy, Enzo was the CMO at FixStream, an AI company for IT Operations, where he was responsible for driving the company’s growth through strategic partnerships, channel programs and product and digital marketing. Enzo led and grew multi-hundred million businesses at industry leaders like Cisco, and guided companies from Series A to successful IPO’s. He also worked as the CMO of 8×8, a public SaaS communications company where he launched a successful channel strategy program. Earlier in his career, Enzo worked as the global Vice President of Marketing and VP of UC Product Management at Avaya, as well as the Vice President of Marketing at JDSU (now Lumentum), the global leader in photonic systems. Enzo is a member of the Board of Advisors for the MS Marketing Program by Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business.

Kevin Amiri SVP Operations

Kevin Amiri is the senior vice president of operations at Quanergy. Amiri brings senior level operational leadership and deep semiconductor and
optical experience. Most recently, Amiri was VP, Operations at Crocus Technology. Amiri’s charter will be to optimize Quanergy’s operational execution while laying the foundations for a high scale semiconductor-centric manufacturing strategy. Amiri will oversee Quanergy’s global operations organization, including IT, facilities, procurement, R&D support, NPI pilot build, supply chain and supplier management, quality, certifications and demand systems planning. Amiri is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and understands how to implement, perform, interpret and apply an advanced level of proficiency.

Adam Andres VP, Sales

Adam Andres joined Quanergy in 2021 as Vice President of Sales. He leads the Sales and Application Engineering teams, which support all direct and indirect commercial activities globally. Prior to joining Quanergy, Mr. Andres was successful in leadership roles for a number of technology companies in the wireless, IoT, sensor and semiconductor markets.

Ross Taylor VP, SW Engineering

Ross Taylor has worked at Quanergy since January 2014. He oversees all algorithm and software development toward Quanergy’s product roadmap. Mr. Taylor has been developing LiDAR and robotics systems and software for more than 20 years. Prior to joining Quanergy, he worked primarily on NASA and DoD LiDAR programs including 3D inspection of the Space Shuttle, planetary rover navigation, and roadside change detection. In addition, he worked on robotics control problems including NASA’s Robonaut. Mr. Taylor received his Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from The University of Texas and his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Louisiana Tech University.

Alfy Riddle VP, HW Engineering

Alfred Riddle, Ph.D. has worked at Quanergy since September of 2018. He developed the M8-PoE, MQ, and was responsible for the release of the S3-2 NSO and WSO products. Prior to Quanergy Dr. Riddle worked on full-duplex networking at Kumu Networks and prior to that analog high speed semiconductor circuit design including 50GHz amplifiers and 20 GHz mixers at MACOM Technologies. Dr. Riddle has had a wide range of product, integrated circuit and software company experiences as well as teaching at Santa Clara University.

Gerald Becker VP, Market Development & Alliances

Gerald Becker is a veteran physical security professional technology evangelist with over 21 years of experience in the physical security space. He is Quanergy’s VP of Market Development and Alliances. He held senior positions at SAFR by RealNetworks, N3N (a Cisco-backed startup), and a 7-year tenure with a national systems integrations firm in North America as VP of Product and Security Services. Mr. Becker has an MBA in Information System from the University of Redlands and a B.S. in Technical Management from DeVry University.

Simon Vine Chairman of the Board

Mr. Vine is a serial investor in tech companies and provides his US and European portfolio companies with advice on strategy and business development and helps them in fundraising.
He Co-headed the Commercial-Investment Banking division of a bank; was an Investment and Risk Committee member of a Luxembourg-based investment firm.
Over his career, he played many roles, including that of a corporate entrepreneur who built many new product lines and spearheaded various IT and digitalization initiatives in many fields. In addition, Mr. Vine managed large, distressed debt projects and led in transitions and crisis management.
Mr. Vine worked at Société Générale, UBS, AEB and Alfa Bank.
Mr. Vine holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a Ph.D.
Mr. Vine published nine books on Finance, Happiness, and career. He was a public speaker on Risks, Uncertainty, and various Management Transition issues (Team building/Leadership/Motivation/Innovation management/etc.)

Tamer Hassanein Board Member - Director

Mr. Hassanein has served as a General Partner of Rising Tide, an early-stage Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm, since November 2011. Mr. Hassanein previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Timeline.com, Inc.. Mr. Hassanein previously served as President of Fuel Powered, Inc. (acquired by Animoca) from 2011 to 2012 and as Monetization Guru and founding team member of Zong, Inc, from 2007 through its acquisition by PayPal in 2011. Mr. Hassanein was also the co-founder of Foghorn Games LLC which was acquired by Playsino in 2012. Mr. Hassanein is an advisor and shareholder in AxiomZen, the venture studio that launched CryptoKitties, Dapper Labs, ZenHub, Toby, and Routific. He has invested in 75+ early-stage companies in the Deep Tech, Fin Tech, Healthcare, Gaming, and Blockchain industries. Mr. Hassanein holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.

Alexander Turkot Board Member - Director

OVER THIRTY YEARS OF COMBINED EXPERIENCE IN MANAGEMENT OF INVESTMENT COMPANIES, TELECOM AND IT PROJECTS ON MAJOR INTERNATIONAL MARKETS.
Alexander Turkot was born in 1961 in Tashkent, USSR.
He holds MSc in Electrical Engineering and PhD in Economics.
In 1990 Mr. Turkot repatriated to Israel and till 1998 worked in various IBM structures as a technical project leader and later as a senior project manager and strategic adviser in many large IT projects for various FORTUNE-500 companies over the world, such as Principal Financial Group (USA), Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Japan), AGF Insurance (France), Norwich Union Insurance (UK), TransNet (South Africa), MIGROS (Switzerland), ELVIA Insurance (Switzerland) and others.

In 1998 Mr. Turkot founded his first start-up company, specializing in various aspects of IT-consulting for large banking and insurance institutions. During next 5 years Mr. Turkot founded several Hi-Tech start-up companies, served as Board Member and Director in several IT and Telecom companies on behalf of his clients.

In 2008 he joins MySpace (at this time world No.1 social network platform). Within next 2 years Mr. Turkot serves as CEO and Managing Partner of MySpace Eastern Europe.

In November 2010 Mr. Turkot joined Skolkovo Foundation, Russia’s Silicon Valley project, on the position of Executive Director for IT Cluster where he is responsible for all IT projects in co-operation with leading universities and industry companies such as MIT, MSU, Microsoft, IBM, Intel, CISCO.

In 2013 Mr.Turkot founds Maxfield Capital Partners, $100M venture fund with focus on early and growth stage IT and Telco companies. Maxfield Capital Fund I has in its portfolio more than 25 companies in USA, UK, Israel, Finland, Austria – among them such industry leaders and fast growing companies as Dr.Chrono, Houstt, Finnest, 3S Money, Machinio, ViiSight etc. As of EoY’21 Fund recorded 10 successful exits.

Mr.Turkot directly participates in strategic management of investment projects in Media, IT and Telecommunication industries in USA, Israel and UK, serves as a board member in 6 companies around the world, speaks at most prominent technology conferences as TechCrunch, WebIT, DLD etc., mentoring and judging international acceleration and incubation programs in Israel, USA and UK.

Quanergy at its core is a solution company that has helped customers around the world solve complex automation processes, by integrating its high-resolution M-Series LiDAR sensors with Qortex™, its highly accurate perception software.
